Heparin-ratiopharm 60,000 cream is used for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries and superficial venous inflammation that cannot be treated with compression. It contains the active ingredient heparin sodium. The cream should be applied 2-3 times daily and can be used with or without a bandage. The duration of use should not exceed 10 days unless otherwise directed by a doctor. The cream should not be applied to open wounds or wet eczema. The cream may cause allergic reactions, so it should not be used by individuals who are allergic to any of the ingredients. The cream should be stored below 25 °C and out of reach of children. Proper disposal methods should be followed to protect the environment. The cream is available in a tube and can be obtained from the pharmacy.
