Ardeybronchol is a herbal medicine for respiratory tract infections.

Areas of application

Ardeybronchol is used to treat the symptoms of respiratory tract infections with thick mucus and to loosen phlegm in acute bronchitis.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in Ardeybronchol is 42 mg of thyme extract. The other ingredients are: Arabic gum, eucalyptus oil, dried glucose syrup, glucose, maltitol solution, liquid paraffin, peppermint oil, saccharin sodium 2-water, dispersible silicon dioxide, purified water, and a total of 0.035 BE of carbohydrates.

Contraindications

Ardeybronchol should not be taken by people with known allergies to thyme or other members of the Lamiaceae (mint) family, or any of the other ingredients. It should also not be taken by infants and young children under 2 years old (risk of laryngeal spasm), patients with bronchial asthma or other respiratory diseases with pronounced sensitivity to the airways (risk of shortness of breath or asthma attack).

Dosage

For adults and children over 6 years of age, the recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges, 3 times a day (126 mg - 168 mg thyme extract). It is recommended to dissolve the lozenges slowly in the mouth, so that the active ingredients can develop their effect in the throat area.

The intake should be continued until the symptoms subside. If you have the impression that the effect of Ardeybronchol is too strong or too weak, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Patient information

Ardeybronchol should be dissolved in the mouth, not chewed, and the intake should be spread over the day.

Consult a doctor before taking Ardeybronchol if you have any complaints that last longer than a week, shortness of breath, fever, or mucus containing pus or blood.

Children under 6 years of age should not take Ardeybronchol as they may choke on the lozenges and there are no sufficient studies for this age group.

There are no restrictions on traffic ability or ability to operate machinery when taking thyme-containing preparations.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Since no sufficient studies have been conducted, Ardeybronchol should not be taken during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
